Glenlea Beef’s Progeny Buyback Program (PBP) was designed to allow us to source cattle buy high performance recorded sires that we know will perform in the paddock and on the hoof. And from herds of cows that we have knowledge of from selling our sires into those herds.

This allows us to be able to market the beef produced as one line in the sense that 50% of the genetics are from a common source.

Glenlea offer purchasing at agreed price (cents p/kg) on a Liveweight basis for weaners and young cattle. This is based on current market pricing.

This agreed price will have the GLENLEA SIRE PREMIUM APPLIED on top of the agreed price which is between 15 and 5 cents per KG for calves sired by GLENLEA SIRES, determined by the bulls genetic value as measured by EBV’s. in most cases where multiple sires are used an average premium is applied.

We also offer grid based payment for feeder cattle ( 350kg + )and finished cattle, again with a GLENLEA SIRED PREMUIM. CONTACT US FOR CURRENT PRICING.
